Fall into Oblivion

Fall Into Oblivion was born in 2005.

At that time Emelie Olsson, Henrik Sörensen and Daniel Holmberg were in the same musicclass at Högalids Folkhögskola. Henrik had written a song.
He presented it to Emelie and Daniel whom became really intreaged.
One of the teachers joined on Bass and the song was perfomed live at
a school cabaret. The crowd really liked what they heard!
The idea of starting a band was awoken.
To make the band complete Johan Lilja joined as the new
drummer and Daniel grabbed the Bass instead.

2006
A 4 song Demo was recorded in 2006 and sold about 200 copies.
This year people really began to notice the band. The band opened up
for metalband Evergrey at “Blomsterrocken”
In Blomstermåla and was mentioned the best local act of the year by
musicjournalist Tommy Granlund in the Local newspaper Östran/Nyheterna.

2007
Emil Sandebäck joined the band this year as second guitarist and really
contributed to a more massive sound and let the band to focus on evolving
the sound in a bit more heavy direction.
The main happening for the band this year was the local battle of the bands competition called The Break. 30 bands applied and 15 made it to the finals. Fall Into Oblivion won their finale and ended up on a fourth place in the grand finale.
Shortly after that Daniel announced that he had decided to leave the band.
The planned new studio recording was put on hold due to this.
The band was metioned as “this years best local live act” by Tommy Granlund in Östran/Nyhetrna.

2008
The search for a new bassplayer was on. Carl Löfgren was chosen. First livegig with Calle and also first gig of the year was at Palace, Kalmar in February, supporting Hardcore Superstar. Alot of songwriting and reherasing went on this year. A couple of gigs took place.
But then the leadguitarist decided to leave the band.

2009
Rebirth!

Pontus “Ludde” Lundin joined the band as an ass-kicking and violently friendly lead guitarist. Carl Löfgren left. EA joined and became the new bass-player with thousands of ideas and energy for a whole bunch. Everybody felt “this is it, lets fucking go, the band is reborn!” A couple of great gigs followed by great reviews in the local newspapers was made.
Fall Into Oblivion was praised as best local band, one again, after a gig with Backyard Babies and Bullet. A new EP “sanity Lost” was recorded and SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL, here we come!
